What The Parents Say
It took us a long time to decide on whether we would send our child to an Independent school. However, after weighing up the pros and cons and hearing such positive things we felt it was the right choice to make. We are so glad we did as not only is Roundstone affordable, but with the small class numbers and dedicated teachers we know that our child is getting the one on one attention that we so wanted. You only have to look around the school and at all the children to see how confident, friendly and well mannered they all turn out which is a credit to the school.

The school under the guidance and strong clear leadership of Mrs Pearce, provides my husband and myself with the confidence that our daughter receives a well rounded education that will set her up for life.
After a first good year at Roundstone, our daughter has now moved up into class 2 with Mrs Elphick, and I am surprised at the level of progress in reading, spelling and the development of her writing skills. Mrs J Walker October 2009
Roundstone children are full of life. The school nurtures and teaches them right from wrong and provides a firm foundation for boys and girls to develop into good citizens. Parents and children of Roundstone are proud to tell others about their experiences of the school and there have been many occasions when complete strangers have come up to Ethan and myself asking about Mrs Pearce. They tell their stories of their own experiencesas a parent or pupil at the school.
The school 'is the children' and the children epitomise the values of the school. Roundstone smoothes off the edges of disruptive children and encourages all to participate in a range of activities.
The school is like an extended family. Children of all ages play together in school.
Without exception when a Roundstone pupil sees another Roundstone pupil they smile and say hello to each other when out of school. Traditional values of good manners and discipline are core instilled in each pupil.
The school delivers on the fundamentals of reading, English and maths without skimping on the sciences, humanities or cultural understanding.
Roundstone provides a platform for pupils who will attend public and state secondary schools and from my experience the receiving school is always happy to receive them. Competition is allowed be it in sport, dance, speech and drama or academically and successes are publicised in school through assemblies. Achievement for excellent performance, personal improvement or effort are valued equally. There can be little better than receiving a cup during cup assembly and being clapped by pupils teachers and parents alike. Its nice for your own children to be acknowledged but its also great seeing others being rewarded. From what I have seen over 10 years everyone is genuine in their support of all children. This has remained the same even though pupils and parents have changed. The smiles on the kids faces make it all worthwhile. Roundstone children leave the school with a confidence to speak up and a willingness to take a lead in the life of the new schools they attend. The children in my view leave school with an inner confidence and are comfortable with themselves. Children who leave Roundstone are nice well adjusted children that everyone associated with Roundstone should be proud of.My personal experiences of the school mean that I would without hesitation recommend then school to all who want to give their children the best possible start in life.
